Astro-Haven in Crete 2027

ASTRO-HAVEN CRETE 2027

Join us in Crete for five immersive days of astrology with Lynn Bell, Maurice Fernandez, Martin Sebastian Moritz, Marc Laurenson and me

29 APRIL TO 3 MAY 2027 | MINOA PALACE RESORT, CHANIA | LIMITED PLACES

If you’ve been studying astrology for a while now, you’ll know the feeling of wanting to be in a room with the people whose work has shaped you. Not on Zoom or in a packed conference setting –  actually in the room with a small group of people passionate about astrology, and with time afterwards for the conversation to keep going over dinner.

Astro-Haven is that kind of gathering. Five teachers, a small group of astrologers from around the world, five days together at a beautiful five-star resort on the coast of Crete. Mornings and afternoons of teaching across psychological, evolutionary and karmic astrology. Evenings in Chania’s old town, or around the long table, or watching the sun go down over the Aegean. I’m thrilled to be presenting at Astro-Haven in 2027 alongside Lynn Bell, Maurice Fernandez, Martin Sebastian Moritz and Marc Laurenson, and I’d love you to join us there.

Your Teachers

Lynn Bell has been a consulting astrologer for over four decades. She was a long-time tutor at the legendary Centre for Psychological Astrology in London and now teaches for Astrology University and MISPA from her home in Paris. In 2016 she received the Charles Harvey Award for Exceptional Service to Astrology. Her work on family inheritance and solar returns is foundational reading for many of us.

Maurice Fernandez is one of the leading voices in evolutionary astrology worldwide, founder of I-ASTROLOGER and the River of Stars conferences, and three-term former president of OPA. He’s the recipient of the ISAR Community Service Award and the Orion Award for Outstanding Contribution to Astrology.

Martin Sebastian Moritz lives in Berlin and started out as an actor and dancer before studying psychology and astrology. He now teaches Psychological Astrology with specialties in Karmic astrology, gender issues and biography work. He has ten years of teaching Psychodrama behind him and works extensively with couple therapy through an astrological lens. He lectures at NORWAC, the AA Conference, the Astrological Lodge, Kepler College, AFAN and the CPA, and he’s the author of Pandora’s Box: The Mysterious 8th House.

Marc Laurenson is an AAT (Accredited Astrology Teacher) with the Federation of Australian Astrologers and founder of the Sydney Astrology School. He has lectured at FAA conferences, ISAR, London Astrology School and Synchronicity University, and he’s the co-facilitator on my Sacred Connections journey through mainland Greece in May 2027.

Lisa Jones (me) – I’m an evolutionary astrologer, teacher and mentor based on the East Coast of Australia. OPA-certified, the Australian representative for OPA, a tutor at the Forrest Centre for Evolutionary Astrology, and a graduate of the Steven Forrest Master program. I’ll be teaching alongside the rest of the team at Astro-Haven and I’d love you to join us for this magical teaching experience that will deepen your astrology knowledge and that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

“Lisa is a highly compassionate person with a wealth of knowledge . She has a unique way of interpreting the astrology information and breaking it down so you understand how it relates to you and your life.”

Why Join Us?

Astro-Haven is small on purpose, and that’s what makes it work.

You’re not lost in the crowd at a big conference, you’re sitting alongside the teachers at lunch, you’re part of the debate night, you’re getting to know the other astrologers who’ve travelled from around the world to be there. The format is built around conversation as much as content, so you leave with something far richer than a stack of session notes. The teaching itself spans a beautiful range. Lynn brings four decades of psychological astrology and her deep work on family inheritance and the 8th house.

Maurice teaches the evolutionary tradition at the level he’s known for worldwide.

Martin works in karmic astrology and psychological astrology from his base in Berlin.

Marc weaves evolutionary and psychological lenses together.

I bring my evolutionary and soul-centred approach, and across the five days we all teach alongside each other.

And then there’s Crete. The island where Zeus was hidden as an infant, where Europa was carried ashore by the bull, where Minoan civilisation began. There’s a reason astrologers come back to Greece: the land brings the work alive and we start to understand these myths and archetypes on an even deeper level.

SECURE YOUR PLACE

Why Crete?

This is where Minoan civilisation began more than four thousand years ago. The mythology tells us Zeus was hidden here as an infant and later Europa was carried ashore here by the bull. The famous Palace of Minos at Knossos sits a couple of hours along the coast, with its labyrinth and its bull-leaping frescoes still holding the memory of a world that was old before even Athens was young.

Crete has its own energy, quite different from the mainland. There’s a wildness to it, a Mediterranean fierceness, with the White Mountains rising behind Chania and the sea on every side.

Where You’ll Stay

We’re staying at the Minoa Palace Resort, one of the leading five-star resorts in Chania, set right on the beach at Platanias and just ten minutes from the old town. With luxurious, comfortable rooms and stunning sea views, you’ll have a peaceful home base where you can relax, integrate, and connect with fellow participants. From sunrise sessions to evening reflections, every part of your stay supports deep learning, community, and well-being. The food is wonderful and the setting is genuinely restful, so you can settle into the rhythm of the conference and still have plenty of energy left to wander into Chania for old-town dinners in the evening.

Chania itself is one of Greece’s most enchanting coastal cities, carrying layers of Minoan, Venetian and Ottoman influence in its winding old-town streets. The Venetian harbour with its lighthouse is breathtaking at sunset, the harbourside tavernas are full of life, and the warmth of Cretan hospitality is something you feel from the moment you arrive. It’s the kind of place where a five-day conference turns into something you’ll be talking about for years afterwards.

  3. Climate. Late April and early May in Crete is warm by day and cool in the evening. Bring layers, bring swimmers.
  4. Travel insurance is essential. I’ll send recommendations on registration.
  5. Cancellation. A non-refundable deposit of €650 is required at booking. 50% cancellation fee from 6 months out, 75% from 4 months out, 100% from 2 months out. Trips are 100% transferable in the event of a global situation (pandemic, conflict, similar).

Combining Astro-Haven with Sacred Connections

There’s a week between Astro-Haven (29 April to 3 May) and the start of my Sacred Connections pilgrimage through mainland Greece (10 May).

Some people come for one. Some people do both. If you’re already travelling from a long way away, doing the two back-to-back gives you a properly substantial month in Greece, with a week in between to rest or explore Athens. Get in touch if you’d like to talk through what that could look like for you.
