The Moon is also a primary part of our lives in so many ways-she operates in a very subtle, yet powerful way, complementing the Sun like the king and queen, as different as day and night. The ascendant (or rising sign) is where all the light of our chart shines through, and it’s what we use as our personal shield, helping us navigate the world.
